Number of taxpayers increases in Azerbaijan

As of October 1, 2022, Azerbaijan registered 1,388,382 taxpayers, which is 6.6% more than in October last year, Report informs, citing country’s the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

Of these, 87.5% were individuals, and 12.5% were legal entities and other organizations.

Over the past year, the number of individuals increased by 6.3% (83.2% of the total growth), while the number of legal entities went up by 9.2% (16.8% of the total growth).
