Number of active taxpayers increases by 1% in Azerbaijan

As of May 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 0.9% compared to the beginning of the year and reached 768,900 people, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the country’s Economy Ministry.

The number of active payers of value-added tax (VAT) increased by 5.3%, to 48,100 in January-April.

Over two months, the number of active business entities grew by 0.6% and reached 205,700.
