Kazakh brand plans to enter Azerbaijani market

Kazakhstan's Meloman, which manages the e-commerce network of the same name, is considering expanding into the Azerbaijani market, the marketing director of the brand's parent group, Aqniet Group, Saltanat Nurjanova, said, according to Report.

She stated that the company plans to launch the Meloman/Marwin brand in Baku and Tashkent.

"Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will be our first international markets. In Uzbekistan, our projects in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafes) segment have received positive feedback. This is one of the fastest-growing markets in Central Asia. We already have successful projects in Azerbaijan as well, along with potential partners who are ready for collaboration. Therefore, we are seriously considering entering this market," she noted.

In February 2025, the founders and owners of the Meloman holding, Alexander and Igor Deriglazov, sold about 50% of the company’s shares to the Aqniet Group. The main shareholder of Aqniet Group is Kairat Itemgenov.

Meloman's structure includes Komfort hypermarkets, the Arsenal cinema chain, Meloman Publishing, and Meloman Entertainment film company.
