CAERC: Fruit & vegetable export revenue reaches $365M

In January-August this year, Azerbaijan’s export volumes amounted to $13 billion, and the value of non-oil exports made $1.6 billion, reads the statement of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Report informs.
Exports in the non-oil sector increased by $429 million or 37.1 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020. For the eight months of 2021, the main share in non-oil exports belongs to the export of vegetables and fruits ($364.7 million).
Non-oil exports grew by 95.3 percent, to $230.4 million. In August 2021, food exports increased by 53.1 percent, amounting to $38.3 million, exports of non-food products rose by 106.6 percent to $192.1 million.
