Azerbaijan, Uganda discuss mutual trade, economic ties

Azerbaijan and Uganda discussed the development of mutual trade and economic relations, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry.
The discussions took place during a meeting between the First Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev and Uganda's State Minister for Foreign Affairs John Mulimba.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that both countries are interested in developing mutual trade and economic cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on expanding economic relations, exploring cooperation and investment opportunities.
They also highlighted the importance of joint activities in the fields of energy, agriculture, mineral resources, as well as holding joint events to establish connections between business circles.
