Azerbaijan starts importing chandeliers from Vietnam

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported 3,371 tons of chandeliers worth $27.3 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistica Committee.

This is 1.1% more in value and 21% less in quantity than the same period in 2023.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported chandeliers from:
- China: 2,958 tons (-24%) worth $15.93 million (-11%);
- Türkiye: 285 tons (+42%) worth $6.3 million (+42%);
- Italy: 50 tons (-37%) worth $1.94 million (-5%);
- Germany: 5.11 tons (2.4 times more) worth $606,000 (+4.6 times);
- Spain: 7.82 tons (+14%) worth $533,000 (-8%).

Last year, for the first time in the last 13 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade available for public use go back to 2011), imports were made from Vietnam (0.01 tons worth $300).
