Azerbaijan sharply reduces wheat imports

From January through February 2024, Azerbaijan imported 134,870 tons of wheat for $30.888 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2023, this is 133,244 tons (2 times) less in quantitative terms and $51.099 million (2.6%) less in value.
In the reporting period, the expenses on the import of wheat made up 1.2% total imports of Azerbaijan.
