Azerbaijan resumes coffee imports from Hungary

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported 503 tons of coffee worth $5.1 million, marking a 27% increase in volume and 38% growth in value year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased coffee:
- From Italy: 107 tons (+27%) for $1.5 million (+28%);
- From Brazil: 127 tons (+6%) for $801,000 (+29%);
- From Türkiye: 65.5 tons (+0.2%) for $694,000 (+16%);
- From the UK: 15.82 tons (+5 times) for $260,000 (+5 times);
- From Netherlands: 19 tons (-5%) for $244,000 (-1%).
Azerbaijan has resumed coffee supplies from Hungary (0.85 tons worth $7,200) after a break of 1 year and 11 months.
