Azerbaijan resumes car imports from Poland

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 70,723 (+25%) passenger cars (gasoline and diesel engines) worth $1 billion (+50%), Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 28,728 (+91.4%) passenger cars worth $282.8 million (+2.2 times) from South Korea, 7,426 (+18%) passenger cars worth $198.5 million (+74%) from Japan, 9,343 (-20%) passenger cars worth $120 million (-8%) from Germany, 2,898 (+13 %) passenger cars worth $100.7 million (+71%) from the UK, 7,157 passenger cars (+19%) worth $81 million (+21%) from the United States.

After two years, Azerbaijan resumed the supply of cars from Poland (8 units worth $107,000).
