Azerbaijan more than doubles positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-September 2021, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $22,974.3 million, up 24.8% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

Exports accounted for $ 14.63 billion, up 38.3% from the previous year. Imports rose by 6.7% to $8.344 billion.

Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $6.285 billion, 2.3-fold higher than a year earlier.
