Azerbaijan, Carlsberg discuss beer industry regulation

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov discussed improving regulatory mechanisms in the beer industry with Carlsberg Group.

According to Report, Jabbarov wrote about the meeting on X.

The talks were held with Nikos Kalaitzidakis, Executive Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and India at Carlsberg Group, on the sidelines of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

Jabbarov said the sides discussed prospects for developing cooperation with Carlsberg Group and work carried out under the 2025-2029 Memorandum of Understanding.

They also exchanged views on localizing raw materials and packaging, as well as creating new business opportunities in the region.
