Russia imports 25.3 million eggs from Azerbaijan

Russia has imported 25.3 million edible eggs from Azerbaijan since late December 2023, said the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), Report informs.

As of March 18, Russia also imported 12.3 million eggs from Türkiye.

Rosselkhoznadzor also said that supplies of eggs from Belarus since the beginning of 2024 reached 171.1 million pieces, which is 3.1 times more year-on-year.

According to Rosstat data published on March 13, since the beginning of 2024, the price of chicken eggs has fallen in Russia by 3.47%.
