Purchase prices for cotton rise again in Azerbaijan

Following discussions with cotton producers, the purchase price for raw cotton in Azerbaijan will be increased by 50 manats, Agriculture Minister Inam Karimov said at a meeting on cotton growing in Salyan district, Report informs.
He noted that in the 2022 harvest season, each ton of cotton will be purchased from farmers for 650-750 manats, depending on the variety: “In the future, the issue may again be brought up for discussion.”
