Minister of Agriculture visits farms in Kalbajar and Aghdara, meets with farmers

Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, visited farms in Kalbajar and Aghdara (the Karabakh region of the country) and met with farmers.

According to Report, which cites the ministry, the minister also met with the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar district, Bashir Hajiyev, and the staff of the representative office.

Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture also became acquainted with the progress of construction in the district.

A meeting was held at the Special Representative's office in Kalbajar, focused on creating the necessary infrastructure on cultivable land and the restoration and development of agricultural activities in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur economic districts.

The minister also inspected an experimental livestock farm on Kalbajar's summer pastures, the sowing areas, and a small ruminant livestock farm in the village of Umudlu in the Aghdara district.
