Minister: Career fair at ASAU contributes to formation of quality human capital

The career fair held at Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU) contributes to the formation of quality human capital for the development of the national economy, Azerbaijan’s Agriculture Minister, Majnun Mammadov, wrote on X, according to Report.

Mammadov highlighted that the career fair is of particular importance in terms of young people's familiarity with the real economic sectors, direct communication with employers, and making the right decisions regarding future career directions.

"Such events create extensive opportunities for students to learn more deeply about the demands of the labor market, present their knowledge and skills to potential employers, as well as determine their professional development prospects," the minister stated.

He added that such events serve to strengthen cooperation between universities and labor market entities, adapt educational programs to real requirements, and increase employment opportunities for young professionals.
