Climate-smart agricultural solutions to be introduced for small farmers

Climate-smart agricultural solutions will be introduced for small farmers in Azerbaijan, World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stefanie Stallmeister said on the second day of Baku Climate Action Week 2026 (BCAW 2026), Report informs.
According to her, one of the most effective approaches is to shift toward climate-smart agriculture to increase climate resilience, reduce waste and improve productivity.
"Examples include drought-resistant and water-efficient crops, water-saving irrigation technologies, resource-efficient farming, more efficient management of water resources and livestock, and other solutions," she said.
