Azerbaijan starts importing grapefruit from another country

In January-April this year, Azerbaijan imported 599.68 tons of grapefruit worth $ 492,000, which means a 7.7 % growth in value terms and 6.4 % in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 559.85 tons (1.3 % more compared to the previous year) of grapefruit worth $ 447,880 (+1.4 %) from Turkiye, 33.2 tons (no imports last year) worth $ 33,200 from the South African Republic, 6.47 tons (-41.2 %) worth $ 9,710 (-39.1 %) from China, and 0.15 ton worth $ 1,200 from Peru.
This year, Peru exported grapefruit to Azerbaijan for the first time in the past 11 years (note: the official statistics in the public domain on trade are available until 2011).
