Azerbaijan’s wheat imports grew by nearly 36% in 1Q2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 287,995 tons of wheat, valued at $62.245 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports increased by 76,029 tons or 35.8% in volume and rose by $14.171 million or 29.4% in value.

During this period, the cost of wheat imports amounted to 1.1% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.
