Azerbaijan's meat imports up by 17%

In January-April 2023, Azerbaijan imported 14,261 tons of meat for $24.936 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the period of 2022, the meat imports increased by 2,022 tons or 16.5% in quantity and by $3.792 million or 17.9% in monetary terms.

Azerbaijan’s spending on imports of meat in the first four months of 2023 amounted to 0.5% of the country’s total import expenditures.
