Azerbaijan's cotton export revenue drops by 14%

Between January and July 2025, Azerbaijan exported cotton worth $108.1 million, marking a 13.9% decline year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
In July alone, Azerbaijan exported $9.5 million worth of cotton, which is 8% lower compared to the same period last year.
Despite the decline in cotton exports, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports rose by 11.4% over the seven-month period compared to the corresponding period in 2024, reaching a total of $2.1 billion.
