Azerbaijan expands exports of foods of animal origin to EU countries 

"For the first time, Azerbaijan is allowed to export processed leather to the European Union. This is a significant event," chairman of the Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli told journalists.

According to him, for the first time, the export of leather – one of the foods of animal origin - is allowed: "Measures will be taken to export other foods of animal origin (wool, honey) to EU countries. This indicates that animal diseases are under control in Azerbaijan."
