According to the operative information as of August 10 this year, 944,400 hectares (97.6%) of the 968,100 hectares of land planned for autumn and spring cereals and legumes (excluding corn) were harvested.

Report informs, citing State Statistics Committee, 2,903,600,000 tons of products were collected from the fields, the productivity was 30.7 quintals. 1,860,200,000 tons (64.1%) of the product was wheat, 1,018,700,000 tons (35.1%) was barley, and 24,700 tons (0.8%) were other cereals and legumes.

The collection (excluding corn) has been completed in 30 regions of the country and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 25 districts, more than 90% of the planned area was gathered, while in others, the level of harvesting was less than 90%.

The highest fertility was in Barda (44.1 quintals per hectare), Saatli (41.6), Sabirabad (41.3), Samukh (40.1), Aghdam (40.1), Tartar (39.6), Salyan (39.6), Imishli (39.1), Tovuz (38.4), and Agjabadi (37.2) districts.

The largest production (excluding corn) compared to other regions was in Sheki (199,900 tons), Jalilabad (176,600), Kurdamir (128,000), Neftchala (123,800), Fuzuli (118,000), Agsu (113,700), Agjabadi (105,500) and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (118,000) were observed.
