Agricultural, food exhibitions to be held in Baku

The 18th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition Caspian Agro and the 30th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition InterFood Azerbaijan will be held at the Baku Expo Center on May 13-16 this year, the representative of Caspian event organizers Bahruz Hidayatzada said at a press conference dedicated to the exhibitions, Report informs.

He noted that about 450 companies from more than 30 countries have confirmed their participation in the InterFood Azerbaijan and Caspian Agro exhibitions: "The geography of the participants will cover not only Azerbaijan, but also Germany, the US, Belarus, Belgium, the UAE, China, South Korea, Palestine, Finland, Georgia, India, Jordan, Iran, Spain, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Egypt, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, Turkmenistan and Greece. Germany, Belarus, South Korea, Georgia, Italy, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka and, for the first time, Egypt will be represented at the exhibitions by national groups."

He added that taking into account the wishes of the participants and visitors, this year the exhibitions will last four days: "The organizers hope that this will create new opportunities and give additional impetus to interaction between the participants and visitors of the exhibition."

Hidayatzada noted that this year the InterFood Azerbaijan exhibition celebrates its 30th anniversary: ​​"Over 30 years, the exhibition, which has hosted more than 3,000 companies from almost 50 countries and more than 150,000 visitors, has acquired the status of an effective business platform."
