Presidential aide: Azerbaijan was exposed to massive disinformation during 44-day war

During the 44-day war, Azerbaijan was subjected to massive disinformation, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, said on the second day of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, Report informs.

Hajiyev noted that Azerbaijani journalists and the Azerbaijani people were also fighting the disinformation:

“There are waves of disinformation against Azerbaijan. The inability to control social media is a huge challenge for our civilization. When we talk about regulation, counterarguments are immediately put forward against it. However, currently, international cooperation and partnerships are needed regarding regulations in artificial intelligence.”
