A regulation has been adopted in Türkiye prohibiting 4-5-star hotels from providing tourists with cramped rooms and rooms without windows, Report informs via Interfax.
According to the regulation, the area of rooms, including living space and bathroom, must be at least 20 square meters in 4-star hotels, and at least 25 square meters in 5-star hotels. The exception applies to hotels located in buildings of cultural and architectural value.
Additionally, hotels cannot offer accommodation in basements and floors where there are no windows and natural light, respectively.
