Over 160,000 Azerbaijani citizens visited Georgia in July

Baku. 3 August. REPORT.AZ/ In July 2015, Georgia was visited by 140 400 citizens of Russia, which is more by 6.6% in comparison with July of last year.

Report informs referring to the Sputnik-Georgia, the information-analytical department of the Georgian Interior Ministry said on Monday.

Leaders for the number of visits to Georgia this summer are citizens of Armenia - in July from a neighboring country came 180.100 thousand persons to Georgia, which is more by 11.9% than in the previous year.

In second place are the visitors from Azerbaijan - 160, 3 thousand people (7.9% growth).

In third place in the number of visitors to Georgia is Turkey, in July of 2015, Georgia was visited by 152,200 citizens of this country, which is more by 12% than in the previous year.

Russia ranked fourth in the number of visitors to Georgia.

Total visited Georgia in July of 737.696 thousand people.
