Azerbaijan sees slight increase in population

Azerbaijan’s population increased by 23,477 people or 0.2 percent from the beginning of 2024 and reached 10,204,247 people as of August 1, 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical.

Some 54.5 percent of the total population are urban, 45.5 percent are rural residents, 49.8 percent are men, and 50.2 percent are women.
