UAV Bayraktar Akinci conducts test firing

The Bayraktar Akinci TIHA UAV hit the target with high accuracy during test firing conducted using the new generation Gokce guidance kit, Report informs with reference to Anadolu Agency.
“Integration of new ammunition and systems of local production in Bayraktar Akinci TIHA, which is developed by Turkiye’s national manufacturer, continues successfully,” Baykar said in a statement.
The new generation Gokce kit was developed by the Defense Industry Research Institute (SAGE) at TUBITAK.
Bayraktar Akinci TIHA flew from the Bayraktar Akinci Flight Training and Testing Center in Corlu to conduct firing tests. It hit the target with high accuracy with its 1,000-pound MK-83 supply (approximately 455 kg).
