Turkmen, Afghan ministers discuss bilateral co-op

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov has held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Report informs.
The ministers discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. They exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani during a telephone conversation on May 13, 2021.
During the talks, the ministers also discussed the regional and international agenda. They noted the importance of contacts at high levels for promoting bilateral cooperation.
