Türkiye will be ready to reconsider Stockholm's bid to join NATO after June 1, when anti-terrorism laws come into force in Sweden, Ibrahim Kalin, the spokesperson of the Turkish President, said in an interview with a local TV, Report informs.

According to him, official Ankara does not see any obstacles to Finland's membership in NATO, since this country has always taken a constructive position.

“Finland has taken a more transparent and constructive position on Turkish demands. We considered it appropriate to approve Finland's application to join NATO.

Doors (to the alliance) are not completely closed for Sweden. The anti-terrorism law in Sweden will come into force on June 1. When they complete this, we will evaluate the process to see if steps have been taken to address our security concerns. In principle, we are not against NATO expansion," Ibrahim Kalin explained.
