Turkish Navy successfully completes testing of new amphibious assault ship

The Turkish Navy, as part of the tests of the landing ship TCG Anadolu, have carried out test loading of armored vehicles on board the ship, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
Prototypes of a domestic-made Altay medium tank were involved in the tests of Turkiye’s largest warship.
Landing ship TCG Anadolu is expected to be put into operation before the end of this year.
The vessel is 231 meters long and 32 meters wide.
The flagship of the Turkish Navy is designed for operations in the Aegean, Black and Mediterranean Seas, and, if necessary, can participate in missions in the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.
