Turkish MFA: India's attack on Pakistan creates risk of all-out war

India's attack on Pakistan has created a risk of all-out war, the press service of Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), told Report.

According to the statement by the ministry, Türkiye is following the events between Pakistan and India with concern:

"Last night's (May 6) attack by India has created a risk of all-out war. We condemn such provocative actions and attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure," reads the statement.

The statement, which calls on the parties to exercise sound judgment and refrain from unilateral actions, emphasizes that Türkiye hopes that necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible to reduce tensions in the region and that appropriate mechanisms, including counter-terrorism efforts, will be established to prevent similar incidents from recurring.

"We support Pakistan's call for an investigation into the terrorist act that occurred on April 22," the statement noted.
