Quake hits Russia

A massive 5.8 magnitude earthquake has hit the Kuril Islands in the Pacific Ocean, according to the Kamchatka Branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The earthquake source was located at a depth of 42 kilometers and at a distance of 189 kilometers from Severo-Kurilsk.
On February 6, an earthquake occurred in Turkiye - the strongest in the country since 1939. According to the latest data, 3,381 people were killed, more than 20,400 people were injured.
