One killed, four injured in Kazakhstan shootout

As a result of the shooting in the Ili district of Kazakhstan Almaty region, four people were hospitalized, and one died on the way to the hospital, the head of the regional police department, Baurzhan Alenov, wrote on social networks, Report informs via Sputnik-Kazakhstan.

The police detained the perpetrators, and a case was opened under articles “Murder” and “Hooliganism.”

Alenov stressed that the situation in the region is stable and under control. All necessary investigative measures are now being carried out, and expert checks have been ordered.
