Mirzoyan: Russia is Armenia's ally

Armenia and Russia are allies, and there are serious bilateral agreements between the two countries, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, responding to a question from News.ru, Report informs.
"Regarding membership in the CSTO (...) we have very serious, strong bilateral agreements with Russia. We are allies," said Mirzoyan.
Speaking about the strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran and its impact on the security of the Armenian-Iranian border, Mirzoyan stated: "The border between Armenia and Iran has always been very calm and free. There have never been any problems there. It has been and will remain peaceful."
