Magnitude 5.0 earthquake hits western Turkey

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has been recorded in the western part of Turkey, according to the country’s Emergency Situations Department, Report informs referring to TASS.
The epicenter of the tremors was in the Duzce province, and the focus lay at a depth of 18 km.
No information about casualties and destruction has been reported.
The earthquake was also felt in Istanbul.
