West's concerns regarding Georgia's possible deviation from the European path by adopting the law ‘On Foreign Agents’ are groundless, the chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream Party, Irakli Garibashvili said, Report informs via TASS.

"It is important to continue the dialogue with our friends and partners. We must convince our American and European friends that Georgia is not doing anything unusual and has no intention of turning away from the European path. There are criticisms that Georgia will turn away from the path of European integration or democracy. Of course, these are not only the exaggerated, but also groundless claims," Garibashvili stressed.

According to the chairman, the foreign policy course of Georgia is guaranteed at the constitutional level and changes in this vector are ruled out.
