Explosion in residential building injures several in Russia

An explosion occurred in a two-story residential building in the Mari El Republic of the Russian Federation, Report informs via RIA Novosti.
The incident happened as a result of a gas leak in one of the apartments in the Zvenigovsky district.
According to media reports, two people were injured and hospitalized.
Further details of the incident are being investigated.
