Erdogan to visit US on May 9

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to make an official visit to the United States on May 9.

Report informs via Anadolu that the head of Türkiye's National Intelligence Directorate, Ibrahim Kalin, will meet with a delegation from the US House of Representatives on Friday to discuss details of the upcoming visit.

The parties will discuss the state of the Turkish-American relations, as well as the conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, they will exchange views on fighting the terrorist organizations PKK and the Islamic State.
