Erdogan: 'It is we, not Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who can put an end to terrorism in Türkiye'

Türkiye's incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has pledged to put an end to terror in the country.

"It is we who terminated terrorists in Türkiye, and we will continue our resolute struggle against terrorism. It is we, not Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who can put an end to terrorism in Türkiye," Recep Rayyip Erdogan, presidential candidate, chairman of the ruling Party of Justice and Development (AK Parti) and incumbent head of state, said speaking at the May 26 rally in Istanbul, according to Report's correspondent seconded to Türkiye.

He noted that the difference between him and his rival Kilicdaroglu at the presidential elections of May 28 is obvious.

"No one is satisfied with the activity of the Istanbul municipality. As soon as it rains, the life in the city is paralyzed. When you ask where the mayor is, he is either skying in Switzerland, or relaxing in Bodrum. We will give the necessary response to CHP both at the May 28 elections and at the municipal elections of 2024," Erdogan said.
