Boat with passengers capsizes during evacuation due to flooding in Russia’s Samara

A six-year-old child, two teenagers and four adults found themselves in the water when the boat on which they were evacuated from the flood zone in the village of Poludni, Kinel-Cherkassy district of Russia’s Samara region, overturned, Report informs referring to TASS.
Two passengers received medical assistance.
There were seven people in the water, everyone was immediately taken to shore by a backup boat. The woman and the six-year-old girl were immediately taken to the hospital and received assistance. No one was injured.
The number of flooded houses and household plots in the Samara region has decreased to 50 and 901, respectively, and there are more than 60 people in temporary detention centers.
