Binali Yildirim: Opening of Zangazur Corridor to be of great benefit for Northern Cyprus

The opening of the Zangazur Corridor will lead to a further reduction in the cost of transportation along the Middle Corridor and will reduce the route’s dependence on third countries, First Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party, former Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim wrote on X, Report informs.

He noted that it is possible to connect the road along the Middle Corridor with Northern Cyprus through the ports of Mersin and Iskenderun: "This will bring great benefits to both Northern Cyprus and the Turkic states."
