Iran: 71 people die of coronavirus per day

The number of people lost their lifes because of the coronavirus pandemic in Iran increased by 71 in the past 24 hours to 5,877, Report says citing the RIA Novosti.

According to Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour, the total number of diagnosed cases in Iran hit hardest by the novel coronavirus has reached 92,584.

Jahanpour said 72,439 people have recovered so far and been discharged from hospitals, while 2,983 patients are in critical condition.
