White House says Biden's New Year's holidays have begun

US President Joe Biden is going on New Year's holidays, the White House said.
The American leader will spend Christmas Eve in a country residence, and celebrate the New Year in the Caribbean.
The White House announced that on December 23, Biden will go to Camp David, the country residence of American leaders. He will stay there for the Christmas holidays.
"On Tuesday, the president and the first lady will return to the White House," the administration's press service said.
After spending the night in Washington, Biden will go to celebrate the New Year with the first lady on Santa Cruz, the Virgin Islands.
Biden also celebrated last New Year in the Caribbean.
