Uzbek president urges Israel and Palestine to stop hostilities

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the opening of the ECO summit has called on Israel and Palestine to begin peace negotiations, Report’s correspondent informs from Tashkent.
“Civilians are increasingly becoming the victims of this war: women, children, the elderly. We call on the parties to immediately cease hostilities and begin peace negotiations,” he noted.
According to the president of Uzbekistan, the people of Palestine have the right to create their own independent state, which is confirmed by UN resolutions.
