Ukraine's state debt exceeds $151B

Ukraine's overall state debt exceeded $151 billion in late April of this year, Danylo Hetmantsev, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, said on Telegram, Report informs citing local press.
According to the Ministry of Finance, as of April 30, 2024, Ukraine’s state debt amounted to $151.5 billion in foreign currency equivalent.
As much as 71.5% of the state debt is external, while 28.5% is internal debt. More than 74% of state debt is in foreign currency.
