Ukraine receives €200 million grant from Germany

The state budget of Ukraine received a grant of 200 million euros from the Credit Institute for Reconstruction (KfW), the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance said, Report informs via Interfax-Ukraine.

"The German Government provided these funds within the program to protect the stability of internally displaced persons in Ukraine. The funds will be directed to cover the costs of the state budget's general fund for the payment of living allowances for internally displaced persons," the ministry said.

The KfW-funded IDP stability support program in Ukraine is aimed at reducing the negative impact on the living conditions of IDPs during Russia's war against Ukraine. The program's purpose is to strengthen the Ukrainian government's capacity to provide the necessary support to internally displaced persons, whose official number has increased significantly since the beginning of the war.
