Turkish FM to visit Lebanon and Saudi Arabia

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, where he will discuss the situation around Israel and the Gaza Strip, Report informs referring to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

Fidan will travel to Lebanon on October 17 at the invitation of the country’s Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib.

During the official meetings, along with bilateral relations, important issues on the regional and international agenda will be discussed, including the situation around Israel and the Gaza Strip.

After his visit to Lebanon, on October 18, the Turkish minister will head to Saudi Arabia to take part in an extraordinary open-ended session of the executive committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The fighting between Israel and Hamas will also be the main topic on the agenda of the meeting.
