Romanian Foreign Ministry confirms evacuation of 127 citizens from Israel

Another 127 Romanian citizens have been evacuated from Israel, Report informs referring to the press service of the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
“On the afternoon of October 12 and the night of October 13, another 127 Romanian citizens returned safely to Romania on three flights operated by several airlines,” reads the statement.
The aggravation of the situation in the Middle East began on October 7 with an attack by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory. The Palestinian movement explains the attack as a response to Israeli actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israel announced a transition to a state of readiness for war and a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip.
