People's Artist of USSR Yury Solomin passes away

People's Artist of the USSR Yury Solomin died at the age of 89, according to his relatives, Report informs, citing TASS.
It was reported that he had a stroke.
Solomin was discharged from the hospital a few days ago.
Starting in1961, he taught at Shchepkin Higher Theater School and was a professor of the acting department. From 1988 on, he worked as the artistic director of the Maly Theater. Solomin has acted in about 60 films and TV series.
